Hello Everyone, you encountered this weird problem? Well, I did. Last time I ran call of duty modern warfare, it showed me Blizzard agent went to sleep, attempting to wake it up". It's going to look like something is getting updated but this is an error that is going to end up nowhere. Call of duty launched its battle royale with 150 people and the game is free. So yeah a lot of people playing this game and pretty sure many of us going to face this problem no doubt.
I tried things like clearing the cache of Blizzard as my first step. In case if it works for you, here is the step to delete the blizzard cache - You can do that by pressing Windows + R key, type - %programdata% and hit enter. Program Data folder going to open up, then find Blizzard entertainment folder and inside you are going to see a cache folder available. Delete it and you are done. After deleting the cache folder completely, I restarted my computer again and it didn't work.
This problem is can be a little bit frustrating but uninstalling and reinstalling blizzard app won't take much time. Hope it helps, Thanks if you have ended up here.

So how to solve this blizzard agent went to sleep problem? The answer is - Uninstall the battle.net app completely and reinstall it. This will solve the problem. If you are thinking uninstalling blizzard going to uninstall Call of Duty Battle Royale too, the answer is - No. Your game is not going to uninstall with the app. Just uninstall the app through control panel and install it again from the browser. Installing fresh blizzard app solved the problem for me.
