Things You Need To Do Before You Start Your Gaming Channel - Sparial19
Hello everybody, I hope you all are doing well. Youtube rules and restrictions are changing daily. So if you are thinking about creating a new channel, always remember to take a look at their rules first. Trust me, it's so helpful. That's my first tip to all of you who wants to create a channel on Youtube.
Now, You want to create a gaming channel? You need to know some reality first. You know what age we are living in? It's the age of competition. So, the things that looks easy to you are not that easy. And also, there are lot of confusion going around from people to people. Like how much you earn for 1000 views, or you are going to start earning plenty once you reach 4K watch hours and 1000 subscribers and a lot. Well, I am going to tell you all the reality here.
First thing is gaming is an opportunity which is open to all. Any person who has mobile can make a video and upload it on Youtube. And imagine the amount of people that have cell phones and play games. So they can easily create a gaming channel. It is no way a big deal anymore. If it was 2010, then you would have done a revolutionary thing, but now, creating a channel just to upload your best call of duty moments is like pouring a bucket of water into the sea and expecting a tsunami of money. It's never work like that.
So what to do? Before you start doing anything, all I just want from all you people is - Think. Millions of gamers out there, many gaming platforms, and so many popular faces are already there. So how you can survive? That's what you have to think about. You have to create something differently, even if its same content like others, you have to present it a little different way so that people find it interesting. That's the most challenging thing to do, in which most of us fail, but some people pass. And they gain popularity quickly.
If you are a beginner and even if you have great gaming skills, it's not going to make you a popular Youtuber. There are always exceptions but you have to understand it that way, when people watches a live stream, they are not just watching the game only, they are watching you. So you must need to have some good communications skills with your chat and entertain them and also face cam sometimes important too. Even if you don't have any viewer, you can not lose the energy. It sounds easy but when you are into it, you understand how hard it is to get even 10 legit views into your video.
You can reach 1k subscribers and 4k watch hours by asking your friends and family. But that's it, when it comes to earning, it's going to be really tough. Reaching that portions means you are eligible to earn, but thats no way means you are going to be a millionaire now. Reaching those criteria means you completed the basic milestone and yeah may be you are going to earn a few bucks at the end of the month. But that is also depends on the amount of legit views you are getting. And amount of Youtubers we have on Youtube, 1000 subscribers is nothing. Don't take it in wrong way, it is good thing but you have to see the reality here.
I have seen a lot of people asking how much money you earn from 1000 views. People say from $2 to $20 and also a lot of things. But the reality is, it's possible you can can earn only $0.3 per 1k views, or $0.8 in 2k views. I never earned $2 with 2k views on my channel at this moment. The exact earning from YT depends on a lots of factor. And I am going to write it on another post.
So before you jump into the sea, you have to know what people like these days. Anyone can create gaming content, but your presentation of the content matters a lot. Asking for subscribers, buying subscribers, this type of things ain't gonna help if your content is not powerful enough. You can create a channel cause it's free and you can see it by yourself the things am saying. But if you truly want to create a gaming channel and become a gamer, you need to start thinking about your content immediately.
