Image
The remake of the best Resident Evil game is here. Its already a month now the game is out and it's absolutely amazing. Though I must have to say the old is always gold but the new one looks very awesome. Now the real question is - if you have an RX 550, are you going to take the risk to buy resident evil 4 remake? First of all, let's check the requirement of Resident Evil 4 remake -  Resident Evil 4 remake minimum system requirements GPU: AMD Radeon RX 560 / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 1200 / Intel Core i5-7500 RAM: 8GB OS: Windows 10 64-bit DirectX: DX12 Resident Evil 4 remake recommended system requirements GPU: AMD Radeon RX 5700 / Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 / Intel Core i7 8700 RAM: 16GB DirectX: DX12 OS: Windows 10 64-bit As you can see above, its not asking much both in minimum and recommended. RX 550 and Ryzen 5 5600x Test with Fortnite

Image
Recently I got the Ryzen 5 5600x and paired it with my old RX 550 GPU, and checked how Fortnite performing in this setup. RX 550 is undoubtedly one of the low budget GPU that available out there. Now If I am being honest, you cant depend on it to run the recent games. Now, about Fortnite, well, its still stands somewhere.  Fortnite's new season is looking really good and also the game looks heavy on high graphics. RX 550 is a low end GPU so there is no way you can expect much from it. Though, after pairing the GPU with Ryzen 5 5600x, FPS increased a bit than before. Previously I was using Ryzen 5 1500x, but with 5600x, game performing way better. And to get the best performance, I'll recommend you to play the game in performance mode.  RX 550 and Ryzen 5 5600x can handle the game in performance mode with 1080p resolution. FPS is around 70-80, which is not that much but still you can enjoy the game pretty well. At least I am enjoying it a lot. Here you can check the performance

First I tried to overclock my GT 610 a long time ago and I lost the GPU, may be the GPU was old and also maybe I have done something bad. I was sure that something bad can happen, lacked confidence that time, and guess what? It did happen and since then I was afraid to overclocking. But a few days ago I changed my mind and bingo, it worked. I have a sapphire pulse rx 550 GPU, if you have read my other posts you know that. I saw that in the raedon driver software, there is an option called Overclock GPU. I got a little boost in my mind after I saw that the graphics driver itself actually offering this method. So why not try this? I have read a lot of time whether overclocking a GPU is good or bad. So if you still afraid about overclocking or don't know, then here is the answer -  * Overclocking can not damage your GPU if done properly. You need to be

Well I love reporting this if anyone interested just to know briefly how your favorite game performing on a particular low budget gpu, specially a gpu like RX 550 . Considering the most talked about gpu's right now that available in the market, RX 550 is a really good graphics card and the price is very low. You can play almost every game that available in the market right now as I have told this same thing before. Anyway let's move on to how its performing when playing fortnite . Fortnite is undoubtedly one of the most popular battle royale game right now. Though the graphics looks a bit cartoonish, that doesn't mean this one is not heavy graphics. A few months ago before releasing Fortnite Season 10, Epic announced that now you must need a graphics card to play this game. That clearly means that internal graphical features improved in this game and you need a particular processing unit cause your inbuilt graphics ain't going to work for this anymore. And yeah we ha

Far Cry 5 Performance Test on RX 550 and FX 6300

Here I am going to share you the performance of the new game Far Cry 5 on my PC built with Sapphire Pulse RX 550 4gb GDDR5 gpu , AMD FX 6300 6 Core Black Edition processor and Kingston Hyperfury 8gb DDR3 RAM and the performance is good. Let's have a look at the video first :-  Well you can see the performance of this game in all the available settings- Ultra ,High,  Medmium Low . Performing as the way i expected with all the settings when resolution scale set to 1. Increasing it can slow down the performance. Getting an average of 22 fps on Ultra, then lowering the settings increasing the performance a bit. In normal settings , you can play this game properly. Giving above 30 FPS which is well enough to play this game. Here is another video where you can check the performance in different resolutions -  Decreasing the resolution means performance improvement. The game running well in lower resolutions with ultra settings. Here is another video of Far Cry 5 with
